Some dentists are marketing cosmetic dentistry as an alternative to a face-lift. By adding length or bulk to teeth, dentists aim to reshape the facial structure to smooth wrinkles and give a younger appearance.
With age, faces can shorten, chins move back, cheeks hollow, and wrinkles appear. Those changes can be at least partially reversed by remolding teeth, part of the scaffolding of the face, to create a new look, cosmetic dentists say. Read more…
